News Flash

Apparently, just watching FIT TV and reading Shape Magazine and reading diet books is not enough. You actually have to do the stuff.
DAMN THE MADDNESS.
Perhaps that has been the answer all along.
You gotta just DO it.
I talk a good talk. I do. I can harp and nag you and motivate you (sometimes I hear ) to do the right/good thing. And sometimes I do it to. But not nearly enough.

There's a Curves at the corner of Grant Line and Tracy, in the same plaza as ACE. I know someone who goes there. Reportedly, it's not not a bad place, nothing like 24-hr Fitness or a similar chain. Since it's a women-only establishement, I do not have personal experience.

Tammy, I did not post the curves thing to you! I thought you might think it was your Aunt Sue since it was a curve comment and all!! You would live it I think, just have to have the time to do it.

Stupid Aunt Sue typed live it instead of love it, sorry

Kay I just gotta say you'll know when it's really time. You'll talk and talk for months, hell, years if you let yourself and one day, you will just KNOW. And you will just DO IT. Curves, eating better, finding one fun excirsise (not riding 60 dang miles on a bike thankyouverymuch) you like and get hung up on, just doing it. I've done the Curves thing and I promise, it does work, it does get in your blood but it doesn't have to be Curves. It can be doing heel lifts for five minutes while you brush your teeth like a maniac. When you stop brushing your teeth cause all the enamel is gone, you can stop doing your heel lifts. :) OR you can do 20 sit ups for one week, then 50 then increase weekly, that works too. I've done it before. Problem is, when you really love food, you really love food. It's something you have to overcome. Looking at all those magazines, personally, I think they make us all feel worse. We can never be like that. Well, maybe we can but it doesnt' seem realistic.

Whatever you do, just start small missy. It's better that way. Forget SHAPE and Get Fit. Look at your shape and then decide whether you SHOULD get fit and start moving. Look at me. I've always been plus size. I'm alright for the most part but I do get down. Those are the moments I do something about it. Be inspired! Not by me but by yourself!

Hugs. Jenn
