Trucks!

When Derek was a baby and in the NICU at Childrens Hospital a very nice volunter who happened to be a teacher gave us a book to read to him. She said read to him early and often. The book was from the Tonka series and it was working hard with the mighty dump truck. I cant even tell you how many times we read that book to Derek over and over again. I swear I know it by heart.

Along cames Joseph who LOVE LOVES trucks. Derek grew as a toddler to be more of a motorcycle boy but Joseph loves BIG TRUCKS. ME Trucks (cement trucks) garbage trucks, big scoops, water trucks, he spots them, he names them. So I drug out the dump truck book and we read it several times a day. He would love to just sit and read books all day if I could stand it.

I think the easter bunny is gonna bring him a basket of trucks and books oh and chalk. He needs more chalk he says.

I think Derek would be happy with a basket full of money but then would we all. LOL
