I think we maybe lucky it wasnt as bad as most.... ours is a whopping.... $239.00 !!!!! Ouch!

260.00 and you know where I live. And my honey was freaking out. I'm not going to sweat it out in here..sorry. It's only on 78 and that's not bad right? In the house set on 78 gives you a 260.00 monthly summer electric bill? When will the madness end? I don't mean to downplay the heat I know you're feeling in Cali, cause it's a hecka lot hotter there than here. Just don't blow too hard cause it might come this way. I'm holding my hands out right now to push it somewhere else.
Chris pays the bills so I had to ask him. He said our last one was between $250 - $300 but he doesn't remember the exact amount. Sucks. Although, I keep mine at 74. I'll go without a lot of stuff, but I can't stand to be hot. I think the key is to keep it on auto. It actually lowered our bill.

Just under $400. A friend of mine in Texas said theirs was close to $700.
Ya'll should move to modesto!!! My PG & E was $12 and my MID (electric) was $114 and I flexed my power by keeping it at 78 all the time-but it ran ALL the time!
Last year when I was 9 months pregnant, I kept it at 72 and it was about $250.
I also "flex my power" by not doing laundry until nighttime!
Sadly I need to add another comment. We got our new bill yesterday and it was $498. That is double from last month. I am sick, but in a way, it was money well spent. But sick.
I know you were waiting for mine. It came in at $381.00. Over double the month before. I guess I have to give up my quest to get the Jack Sparrow Toy out of the Happy Meal, so I can keep the air on :)
