Friday

Phew it's Friday. Thank goodness. What a week. A good week. A mix of highs and lows. More highs I would say than lows.
Dominic overslept today BIG time. He needed it. He has been riding a wave of emotions about his new job and telling his current boss, wondering when he's moving over to the new department, the transition of a new job, how the boys are going to deal with the change.
I woke at 6:40 and he's standing in the kitchen saying he woke up at 6:20. He was suppose to go in at 5 am this morning just for overtime. So he wasnt really late and I really think he needed the sleep.

Derek was double jazzed to go to school today he has music sign up. When he left this morning he was all set to play the violin. He hopes it will help him learn the guitar. What a difference a day makes when that boy is exicted to go to school and it's happened a few times this year already.

I made my self a new CD for the car, I am having lunch with my favorite cousin, it's Friday and the wine is chilling. I have some good friends that have made BIG decisions this week and I am happy to see the change in them. Happy to hear their voices with a happy tone in them.
So you know the deal, good music, good wine (some brownies for us too as an extra treat after dinner which I highly recommend for all of you) it's Friday do whatever makes you happy! Those are the rules.
