Ok today was D day. We told Derek that if he got a good report card we would hook him up with Xbox live. When we said this I did not know how much all of this was going to cost. So we start researching and the wireless router was going to be $100. and the thingamjig for the xbox was going to be $100. Yup $200. I was not happy about his at all.
So the report comes and he made the honor roll and I am still unhappy to fork out $200 to play a video game. Grrr.
So I do some research and find SBC has a deal to upgrade my DSL router to a wireless one for $79 with a $49 mail in rebate. So instead of $100 it will be $30. Ok I am so cool with that. So we still need the thingamajig for the xbox. We told him when Daddy got paid today we would get that. So I walk into Best Buy ready to pay $100 clams. Well my luck was a box was partially opened in the store like someone tried to steal it and they caught them so they had to sell it as an opened item so it was $49.00 today.
So the $200 thing we told him we would do when it was all said and done just cost me about $80. YES INDEED.
I am so happy. This was good indeed and some pretty incredible luck. I am blessed once more indeed.
