Are we done yet?

The finish line is looming.
Just two more nights of class. Take the final. 100 questions each class. Yikes!
Give it a kiss for luck. Say thanks and walk out the door. Leave in the hands of the magical scan tron machine.
Christmas shopping, finish it. Wrap it. Check your list, check it again. Always that last thing we forgot for that last person. YIKES!
The end of the year. It's coming to an end. Where are you? Where you been? Where you going?

There's a road
We've been travelin'
Lost so many on the way
But the riches
Will be plenty
Worth the price we
Had to pay

There's a dream
In the future
There's a struggle
We have yet to win
And there's pride
In my heart
'Cause i know
Where i'm going
And i know where i've been

Yes that would sum up the year for me. So much wisdom in me these days. Maybe my grandmother is sending it down to me. Maybe all the things she told me, taught me is finally clicking. I dont know, but I am more comfortable in this skin of mine than I have ever been. I hope for you that if you have not found that this past year you most certainly will in the coming year. Strive for it. Reach for it. Or just sit with it. Sometimes it's as plain as the nose on your face. Sometimes we reach too far out for it when it's just about reaching around ourselves.
Ok back to the books for me. Thursday night 6 pm the sigh heard around the world will expel from my body. My last final will be turned it. I will be free as a bird till January 14th when the new semester begins and I attempt Algebra once more. But that's next years challenges lets just sit with this years victories.
