It seems to be all over the news these days. Stroke Patients using the Wii for rehab? Do you think I could claim it as a medical item? Do you think my insurance would pay for it? Do you think Congress could give us all one while they freeze everyone's mortgage rate? Please don't get me started on that.

Stroke victim uses Nintendo console to rehabilitate

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Franklin Perry used to spend hours performing video game feats with his thumbs but lately he has been using the Nintendo Wii, and the rest of his body, to regain his strength after suffering a stroke. Hmmm...
Dom and I do not agree on the Wii. I think it would be so fun. I think it would be good for Joseph. He says we already got a video game system this year, we don't need another. I say Derek got one not the FAMILY. I say it's all a mute point we won't be able to find one. He says we could buy a lot of stuff the boys need for that amount of money. And yes he's right. He's right. He's always right.
But I am still going to ask Santa for one in my letter. They boys and I have been working on letters to Santa. They write what they want. They write what they want Santa to bring the others in the family. They write about what they want Santa to give another child. The write about how happy they are for what they have and then we write the huge Money is no option version. My money is no option version shall have a Wii. I think I would really dig it and I think it would be good for Joe.

The Wii is the best system ever. I should know because I live in a house of video game freaks.
:)
yes but when it all boils down, is having "the best system ever" really what's important? there are obviously people who have made it by in life without a wii...priorities, priorities.
I know your just jealous.
