It's raining here. Big rain. Lots of rain and it was pretty windy this morning. Just a soggy day. I am fine with that. We are still in the house. Haven't left in days. I don't want to deal with the traffic and the people and the weather. But it's making us crabby.
Dom did our Federal Taxes this morning. It's all good we don't have to pay and we're getting just a tiny bit back. He wants to stash it. Save it. Yes he's right. Yes it's the right thing to do. I am just frustrated. I would like to save half of it and use the rest for maybe a small vacation maybe to Disneyland for the boys. Joseph has never been, Derek only once. I wanted a new entertainment center but the one we have isn't broken so forget it. I want a new refrigerator. But again the one we have isn't broken. I just want something nice. Something new. I am tired of being broke all the time. I am tired of used broken but hey they run things. I know I only have one more year of school and I'll be able to work and that will really boost our income so I just have to make it thru one more year. We pay our bills we have a roof over our head and heat and food. I get it. I just was hoping for a little extra. He wants to fix the car. I want to have one nice thing in my home. We hit the wall cannot agree. So I guess he won it's going into a savings account to pay for the boys birthday's and maybe some dental work. He's always the grown up. He's the level headed one. And I bet you in no time the Honda will be fixed. I cannot wait until I can make my own money again and maybe we won't be living pay check to paycheck it's getting really old.
I feel so childish. I feel so silly being upset about this. I am thankful we don't have to pay. I am thankful that we will have some to save for that rainy day that always comes and bites me on the butt. I guess I was hoping today was that rainy day. But it's not.

Just got back from Disneyland. 2 words for you: Sold Out.
We had our tickets ahead of time (2 days for $122 each-total of $470) but...when Disneyland is sold out, that means that there is a 3 hour line for Nemo (no fast pass), Indy broke down while we were underground, and there was an hour an a half wait just to buy snacks. I don't plan on going back for a long while. And I was soooo sick and dragged my sick butt all over so my kids would have a good time, but they were also not very happy (kids not happy at Disneyland) because the entire day was spent standing in line. And the fast passes we did get were for 8-10 hours after we got them (at 11 am, our fast pass was for 9:15 that night). Not worth the money...wish I would have bought the granite countertops instead...
