A Wing, A Prayer and all the good stuff

Our application and supporting documents are in the hands of those that make the big decisions.
What will they say? How long will it take them to say it? What will it all mean for us?
I am on pins and needles.
Someone with a large rubber stamp that will only see how we look on paper (and honestly it feels like we don't look so good on paper) will decide.
I wish I could tell them about the carpet in the garage I hate but the landlord wants to keep she thinks it's nice. Well but you cant sweep out there you have to vacuum and if you pull your wet car in then the carpet is wet and then it gets stinky and moldy. But she lives does not live here what does she care where is the rent is all she cares about.
I wish I could tell them about the faucet I want to replace in the kitchen. The wall I would like to paint. The pet I would like to get the boys. All of this down the road but those are my plans.
It all lays in the hands of another.
