Ok so someone thought that San Joaquin Delta College would be wonderful if it had cobblestone walk ways and brick steps all over the place. So Ivy league right? Well let me tell you that stuff gets darn slippery when it rains. Which it has been. LOTS.
So Wednesday was a rainy day. Parking at school was horrible. I had to park WAY far away and walk to my class to give a speech. Hair was a frizzy mess. Luckily my partner was having her own issues (poor thing) so I didn't have to give my speech and that really is another story. I was way more ready than I thought I was.
So off to PE I head. Slipping and sliding about.
In my PE class we have one student that is blind and one student that is in a wheel chair. The boy in the wheel chair asked me (the mother of the group, the mother of a disabled child no less) if I would hold the door open for the blind student. Of course I will and I will look over his IEP and make sure he receiving all services he needs blah blah blah. No, I just held the door open. So then I told the boy in the wheel chair to go too. So I am the last person into the class and that is when I slipped and fell INTO the classroom. Behind the blind student and the student in the wheel chair. sigh.
The rest of the day was more or less uneventful till I burned my hand on the stove making our frozen pizza.
Today was better it was Math day and those aren't too bad other than having to be in class at 7:30 in the morning.
We are STILL waiting for the lender guy, the wonderful lender guy that I adore that I shall bake a pie for if he would like one, has not called us back yet. Sigh.
Yes he works for us. I am trying to be patient. I am trying to assess if it is a good thing or a bad thing that it's taking this long for him to call. Thoughts?
Ok I am off to take a bath. (too much info ya think?)
