Gravy Girl

I am not of the gravy generation. My mom and aunts, my grandmothers they could make gravy. Good gravy. But now I cannot master it. I get gravy from a can or packets. sigh. I wish I was better at the sauce thing but I am not. Lately I have not even made homemade sause when I make Lasagna. Why is it? What will happen to our children?How will they ever learn to make gravy. Girls teach your daugthers. It's a lost art.
And anything else you think about that maybe your mom made or your grandmother and you find you don't do it, do it on occassion and show your children. We have to keep these traditions alive.
