Since the Sharks or the Blackhawks aren't holding this this year, I cannot think of a better team to be holding this tonight. Way to go Detroit bringing Lord Stanley's cup to hockey town. They didn't do it in a sweep. They didn't do it with a shut out but they did it. I am so happy for Chelios, Osgood, Lindstrom and Drake. A happy way to end the season.
So my aunt how has turned into a hockey fan this year asks how long till the next season and what is she going to do all summer long. I say we have the Olympics to get us through. Take evening walks, rest and get ready for the new season. But for now, just for tonight lets be happy for the Red Wings. I am.
