Campbell Moves To Chicago San Jose Sharks Staff Jul 1, 2008, 6:07 PM EDT On the opening day of the NHL's free agent period, defenseman Brian Campbell has signed a free agent contract with the Chicago Blackhawks, allowing him to move closer to the East, a move he desired for personal reasons.
Campbell posted 19 points in 20 regular season games in teal and 1 goal and 6 assists in 13 postseason contests.
Patrick Rissmiller, who has not been offered a contract by the Sharks, has signed with the New York Rangers.
I am still waiting to see what is going to happen to Curtis Brown. This has been a rough week for this hockey girl.
