First Day of School Part One.

Like a switch had been flicked Derek woke up grumpy. All summer long he has gotten up in a good mood, but not today. He was grumpy. Sigh.
But he ate his breakfast and got ready and posed for a photo (just barely and the camera malfunctioned) and then...he and his new friend in the court, got on their bikes and rode off down the street.

No smoochies. No hugs. Sigh. He just took off down the road. Oh, fifth grade here we come.
Joseph goes later. He's in the afternoon class. So far so good he still seems like going to school is a good idea we'll see what he thinks in about an hour.
