May 1 is this Saturday and kicks off National Stroke Awareness Month, a time to raise public awareness about stroke.

National Stroke Association reminds you to contact as many friends, colleagues and loved ones as possible about the importance of stroke awareness in the coming days.

We urge you to tell others about how to:

STOP stroke through risk factor management.
Act F.A.S.T. to increase recognition of and response to stroke symptoms.
Spread HOPE about recovery from stroke.

To learn more about stroke or find ideas for how to spread awareness during May, visit www.stroke.org/SAM. The more people we reach, the better for reducing the impact and incidence of stroke.

Thank you for your efforts!
