I don't like it when people say
"I am a redneck" or "I am a hillbilly" or "I am a bitch" or "I am a Mexican that's what we do"
No. You're not. Why label yourself? It doesn't seem you're all that proud of that label to me. It's like it's an excuse or a built in opportunity for you to fail or not be your full potential. "don't blame me I am just a redneck" bah!

I don't like it. I don't like it.

Oh and the Scotland project came out great. The control freak in me took over making the kilt. I know it was wrong he needed to do it... but... it's just...
Lord help me when he has to make a mission. UGH.

Agree. 100% agree. It's a major cop out.

And lately we've been having this conversation with the oldest that no matter what the color of your skin is, we are all exactly the same inside therefore all deserve to be treated the same etc etc. I truly believe that. Then I come across an angry person who just looks at the world like you owe me and never smiles and goes out of their way in their car to say go ahead hit me or walk in the middle of the road like go ahead hit me and I can't help but get all riled up inside which makes me feel like I'm living a double standard. Teaching my son one thing and believing it but letting myself get all worked up about other people. Guess it goes back to you can only control what you do; no one else. Moving on...
