What to do?

Derek hit his head at school today. He got slammed (sort 0f) in to a pole. They called me. He got on the phone. Said it hurt but was better. I asked if he wanted to stay or come home? Being a stay at home mom there is no question who will do my work, answer my phones, go get him? I was in the car down the street. He waffled. Head injure in my mind. I felt he should come home.
He decided he wanted to come home. I got him and sure enough he has a nice goose egg on his head. I gave him some water, some tylenol. He's fine.
Then it hit him they made fossils in class today and he missed it. I felt really bad about that I really did. It stinks.
So we're working on our Scotland project together. Yes we are. He's at the neighbors house across the street and we are working on the project over here.

Joseph got his new braces today.
He really likes the orthopedist that fits him (he rides Harleys) Joseph set so still and let him fit him for them. I was amazed. He got a little antsy when they measured his arm for his new brace and kept asking me if he was done yet but he did well.
Ok I am beat. New braces, Scotland projects, heads banging into poles. I am done.
