At certain times during the day or during the evening hours if my boys are outside playing I tell them to put a lid on the screaming or being loud. It's a free country I know but I feel no need to be loud and screaming just to be screaming. There is a couple in our court with a pretty new baby (as opposed to an old one) and I am sensitive to the fact that it might be sleeping in the afternoon or early evening.
The kids across the street have been screaming all darn day. Joseph hears them and says "Me play me too" and wants to go out. They are a lot older than him so no deal.
God forbid something happen to one of those kids and they began screaming for help I would not help I would just think "oh there they go again"
Ok just had to get that off my chest.

I agree. I think you can have fun without yelling and screaming. Why? Yes kids will be kids and they should be able to be free and have fun but to be courteous to others as well.
I agree with all you said. When something is wrong, who will key in? No one. Plus not everyone works during the day and sleeps at night, what about those who sleep during the day and work at night? And the babies? Napping?
Courtesy please.
Go ahead, slam me too.

Sorry, but Im with you both. The screaming gets old and with a baby that wakes up if the wind changes direction, the rule is if you wake him up, you take care of him (so far Im still the only one who doesn't wake him up, but the only one who deals with the honery baby when he is woken up). Scream your head off when you're at school kid. At least there are 500 other kids screams to drown you out.
