Whales

Is it just me, my husband says it's just me, but is this whole whale business bugging you too?

How much time, money and resoucres are being spent on these whales?? I want to scream!

Dom says "Well what would you rather they do?" I say leave them alone. They came up for some reason let them do what they have to do and be done with it. He says they got lost. I say maybe it's evolution maybe they need to find a different are to live and it starts slowly. He says What if they start to intefere with shipping down that river. I say "Ba" and walk away. It bugs him that it bugs me so and I can't help it. I think it's neat that people went out to see them but the links they are going to move them is ridiculous. The banging, the boats, the recorded messages gee whiz. Now they are going to shoot firehouses at them?

Why didnt anyone try to do something when they were maybe 10 miles up the wrong way why did they wait till they were nearly 65 miles.

It's not going to end well I think and it seems like a big waste of time and money.

Then did you see the allegator that was loose in LA?

It's a sign I am telling you the critters are going crazy around here.

Dealing with a rotten whale carcass is no picnic either.

I have seen this on the news more and more. Now they are going to try to guide them back to the ocean with fire hoses. Huh? Ok, I am ignorant in these things, just sounds funny to me, that's all. They have given them antibiotics. Wow. I know it takes a village but and I'm not anti humane or anti animals, I'm just saying, this is all a lot. I think it's the right thing to do to try to save them but at some point, don't you just have to say to yourself, they are here for a reason, lost or whatever, but honestly, if this were hundreds or even thousands of years ago, no one would have or could have tried to save them. Let nature take it's course. Maybe that is cruel. We should try to save them but only to a point. I agree Tamm, spend those $$ elsewhere after you've given it a good old fashioned try or two.
I'm feeling cynical today. --So sorry.
