Barbara Marie Kahn

I could write page after page about my grandma. I spent so much of my life with her. There are so many stories I could tell. There are so many memories I will forever and always have. But today I can't. Today they are mine and mine alone. I said good bye. I said "I love you" I held her to me and thanked God for her. I got that chance.
I will miss her all the rest of the days of my life.
I already do. We lost her Monday night. Her very tired, very worn out body and heart sotpped and she left us.
As my mom and aunt and all of my uncles busy themselves with the one million details. I have nothing to do. Nothing to keep me busy. Nothing but my memories and a very sad heart.
We'll miss you Sweet Sweet Grandma.

"I love you, a bushel and a peak and a hug around the neck, yes I do"

Tammy........I appreciate what you said..I was doing so good til I read your comments this evening. Yes, she was one of a kind and all of us will miss her til we are with her again in our Father's House.

In this moment you won't be able to see or understand anything. You will just be ultra aware of your sadness and nothing else will seem to make sense for a while.

I am thinking of you and sending you big hugs and all of my sympathy because I know your Grandma meant so much to you and to all of you. She was well loved and will be missed always.

There are no other words that are right to say in times like this. Just I love you.
