It's a weekend for us and one not jammed packed. Imagine that.
Dominic and I even got to watch a movie, we took in "We Own The Night" last night thank you Blockbuster coupon for unlimited free months of free movies. Woo hoo. A pretty decent movie. Tonight we might try to squeeze in Zodiac after we watch the new Night Rider show with the boys to see if they dig it.
Most of our neighbors are up early out and about, doing yards, washing cars on the weekend. Heck they all probably get out of bed at 6 am. (crazy) I went to get the paper a bit after 8 and the court was already a buzz with activity. I did my best not to throw a bear like grumble at them and scurried back in. Yesterday was the same way and we left the house about 1 to grab some lunch and go to the park. But we all did not go to bed till almost midnight. After the park we made tacos and my new thing is to have music that matches the meal so we had some Salsa music on while we ate.
The boys and I eat together every night, usually in front of the tv, but on weekends we try to sit down with daddy and play dinner table games and listen to crazy music. (tonight is steak what on earth shall we listen too? I am searching)
So it's just about 1 and we are going to check out some houses on the market and head to the library and yes our garage door will open and we will emerge (finally) but while everyone in our court fall into bed we will just be kicking in to full speed. It's just our style and I baby I like it.
*** Funny Dom quote from yesterday... "I am only cool when no one's lookin" Derek and I thought it was pretty darn funny and we laughed a great deal. sigh. Funny boys around here.

Steak=Western music like old west music. Ya know? We do the same. Music on while we eat, we usually eat every night all together at the table and the music is on too. Table/dinner games too. We are alike missy. Last night, we had tacos(no kidding) and quesadillas ( I thought Jake would like but uh, notsomuch) and I made margaritas for me and my honey. WITH salt on the rim too. Ha. check it. Mar-GAR-ita (with the accent) :) It's family fun stuff. -
-Hey on a diff note-we watched The Brave One with Jodie Foster. Tad violent (TAD, uh yeah, guns, shooting beating up) but minus that, a very thought provoking story line. A tiny long and they had no choice but to wrap it up so perfectly and neatly in the end and we weren't so good with that after the whole dang movie but you know, it was ok good. Not the best, not the worst. Makes ya think a little. Nothing wrong with that I suppose.
Someone inspire me with dinner tonight. I need inspiration!
Rambling, sorry. :)

When the three girls were home we didn't play games or listen to music at the table. We talked about whatever they wented to talk about. The important thing is you all sitting down to eat a meal together. That's a lost art in today's world. They all knew dinner or supper what ever you call it, was on the table at six. During the teenage years when they all had a hundred things going on all the time they made it home by six. They all are grown now and they tell me that is one thing they liked about growing up. Love unlce Phil
