48 Hours

Everyone gets 48 hours in a weekend. Yesterday at hour 40 I was done. I did not want to do anything more. I cannot believe how much we crammed into a weekend.

Saturday we fought the ants some more and cleaned up the kitchen after a grand breakfast of french toast and bacon.
Headed to Stockton for a birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. Have you ever considered that good ole CEC is just a child's casino? You have no sense of time in there, the conditions are controlled and now the kids have little cups to hold their tokens in so they wonder around stuffing coins into machines. They are preparing them for the casinos for sure.
After the party we went to REI (I love that store and I don't know why?) and the new Coolwater Creek ( I love that store too!) came back to town and had dinner. When we got home I cleaned the house and Dom mowed the lawn. Then we played the Sims game till 11 and hit the hay.

Sunday morning Dom and I did some homework from 7 till the boys woke up. I made homemade biscuits and cleaned up the dead bugs (thank god they are dead now) and we headed to Silvercreek Sports Complex in San Jose. Oh My! Joseph was sure he was in Heaven. They had roller hockey and inflatables and pizza and this amazing cake and cousins and friends. So much fun. Dom got to play soccer (indoor soccer but he didn't seem to care) and we watched some kids play hockey and I swear Joseph was drooling. Such a cool place. I can't wait to go back.

After the party we went over to Valley Fair to the Lego shop (That mall rocks and Derek needed a fix of his own kind of heaven at this point. ) Then we went to see my father in law and mother in law in there wonderful 62 degree home (so cold in there but it felt good) then we headed to Red Robin and I had the best salad ever. Came home and played more Sims ( Dom even has a character now) and hit the hay at 11.
I cannot believe how much we did. It was not a restful weekend at all. No way. But it was fun and we saw friends and family and that's always good and the boys love seeing their cousins. I enjoy being in San Jose it's Dom's stomping grounds.

Another busy week we have the Hulk movie on tap, some bowling, some swimming and Uncle Danny will be here. I told Dom I use to feel sorry for those old people sitting there not speaking when you see them in restaurants but now I think they might be just resting from many years of being busy. That will be us for sure.
