This is Matt and Madeline.
Matt became a father and a widow pretty much on the same day.
Now he is raising his daughter without his wife. Madeline is growing up without her mother. He is surrounded by a wonderful support system of family and friends.
So on this sizzling hot day when the kids are on your nerves, the spouse has made that comment again. Stop. Stop and think about Matt and Madeline and Liz. Stop and hug them. Stop and say a prayer for Liz who never got to hold Madeline not once. Say a prayer for Matt and all that lays ahead for him. Stop and say a paryer for Madeline and the wonderful woman she will grow up without.
