Happy Face

Dominic and our friend John spent about 3 hours this weekend working on an online application in hopes that John might be able to get hired on at the Depot where Dom works. John really wants to stay in town and would really like to get his foot in the door in a more stable industry. Not to mention in his current unemployment state, he would really like a job. They are hiring 24 people hopefully it works out that he is one of those 24.

In the mean time, Dom's supervisor called him into his office tonight. Apparently Dom spends a lot of his nights doing what is called PM's on things. Preventative Maintenance checks. He use to work on aircraft and those of us that know Dom knows that he is very meticulous about things. Apparently a member of the day shift pulls some of the PM's that were performed and goes back and checks the work that was done. His supervisor wanted to talk to him about the work that he did on those PM's. His supervisor told him that in all the years he's worked there he's never had anyone get happy faces on all of the PM's checked in a row and that have been checked in one day. Kudo's to meticulous Dom.

So he told Joseph he got a happy face at work today just like Joseph does at school.
Apparently it's very unlike the guy that does these check so be the "happy face" type.

Meanwhile I did my first shift at the hospital today as a volunteer. I was exhausted when I was done but it was good. I got my badge and uniform. I really like everyone a lot. This should be a good gig. I feel that all that is about to be put on my plate is going to really be a challenge but I am looking forward to it all. I will have lots to juggle but it's all good juggling.

I just wanted to say thank you for your comment! I laugh that people read my blog and get upset. If I say things that you don't like than stop reading. Oh well it is for those like you who I write for. Take care. H
