The Trip We Needed

I can't tell you how good it was to get away. Even the car ride down (6 hours total) wasn't too bad. The boys were so so good. We rode the Pirate ride 4 times, the cars 4 times and Hemlicks Chew Chew Train (LOVE THAT RIDE) twice.
There were 56 million people there (or at least it felt like it) but the weather was great. We rode just about everything. The room was great, the food was good it was JUST what we needed.
We saw a baby with shoes that squeak every time she took a step. Too cute. We saw a family of baby ducks walking down main street but the baby ducks wouldn't jump the curb they went down to the ramp. Too cute how smart they were to do that.
We watched the fireworks and spent about 12 hours every day in the park. The boys got hats and ears and laser guns. We rode the Buzz Lightyear ride and the Winnie the Pooh Ride. We ate Churros every day and spent way too much on ice cream but hey we were on vacation.
So far it's been a great vacation.
Yesterday we went and saw Monsters Vs Aliens. It was pretty good. Today we planted Salsa. Tomorrow it's Dave and Busters for a birthday party. I hope you all are having or had as great a vacation as we are. We needed it.
