My mom called this afternoon. She sounds good. My dad is in his own room, he's out of ICU and they had him sitting up today. His recovery is right on track. He's up to his wise crackin self which is a good sign. No water or liquids or food till at least Friday. Can you imagine? You can't swallow anything? No water or anything? He has this sponge on a lollipop stick thing that is his best friend right now.
I am planning to go see him this weekend. Hopefully he'll be coming home some time early next week. He has a great bunch of nurses taking care of him.
